To rent a car is quite straight forward. You visit the website and choose the car you want and when you need it. From a business stand point that's direct conversion.
Challenge
At Hertz we needed to attract customers who were a step before a conversion. In order to do that we had to create different content for those types of web searches. The CMS had its limitations which hindered us to create a platform for the new content.
Solution
I transformed a default web template into a responsive platform for the new content and the digital agency optimized the content for web searches.
Effect
The result became a custom made HTML & CSS content hub to support customers searching for inspiration before renting a car. This enabled us to write content and use keywords for optimizing both SEO and Ads for searches higher up in the conversion funnel.
The solution has since then been optimized and are incorporated into the actual website.
